The pop-up exhibition features\u00a0an intergenerational dialogue between feminist activists, many of whose papers have been donated to the Smith College Special Collections. The Women’s History Month\u00a0we know today evolved from the efforts of early women’s activists in the mid-20th century. Tracing that history is imperative in having, and understanding, national and international conversations.<\/p>\n
The collection is a chronological look at the history of Women’s History Month, and features documents from International Women’s Day,\u00a0activism on Smith College’s campus, and from organizations such as ARISE, Third World Women’s Alliance, and the Prison Birth Project. It focuses on how to become involved in activism, in women’s history activism, and the\u00a0many varied forms of activism. Please visit our Resources<\/a> page and\u00a0Streaming Video<\/a> page for more information.<\/p>\n The exhibition will be on display in the KnowledgeLab (Neilson, 2nd floor) from Tuesday, March 21 until Friday, March 31.
