We would like to conclude our exhibit by again stating:

This exhibit is attributed to Holiday, Cruz, and Simpson, who not only challenged their social and political environments but constructed a space in which they encouraged others to do so as well. This exhibit is also attributed to the many black women who, throughout history, have sparked dialogue and change regardless of how the world has treated them as a result of this. This exhibit is also attributed to all the black women who are living today in a society that continues to dehumanize the black female, other the black female body, and stigmatize the very essence of having black skin.
