Final Choreography Project

These choreography projects were developed over the course of DAN 151: Elementary Composition. Once in-person classes were suspended and online learning commenced, the final project assignment shifted focus. Students were given the options to create a dance film, a site-specific work, and/or choreography for an imagined stage piece. Ultimately, the students all chose to develop projects that interwove the three. These makers devoted their time, creative prowess, and deep curiosity to producing projects that featured nuanced choreography, relevant themes, cinematography, and site-adaptive material. They took up an incredibly challenging charge with determination, perseverance, and integrity. Enjoy!
