The fern glade is on the east loop, on the northern border of the property. Apart from ferns, there are many types of trees: oak, maple, white pine, and beech, to name a few. There are also small bushes and moss and fungus closer to the ground. There are a lot of fallen trees to sit on and a gentle slope to look out over.
