Empty artery, leave out the sea

A blackout poem made from a page of poetry by Emily Dickinson. Words of the poem are crossed out in brown, and the remaining words are underlined using red string that is threaded through the page. Blue rhinestone stickers on the page mark the beginning and ending of lines of the poem. In the center, behind the poem, an anatomical heart is drawn in pencil and pink crayon. Pink transparent beads are threaded into the corners of the page. Strips of pink paper form a border around the poem.

EMPTY artery, leave out the sea,
Subtract not me
Erase Eternity’s filament
