A blackout poem made from a page of Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman. Words are removed with whiteout. The page is pasted on orange construction paper. White wisps are drawn around the poem.

Passage OF THE Muse
Sing the earth its heart.
The seed, every life is born,
the seed is science, modern, absolute.
The soul, gather’d around the globe.
For it the entire sky.
In spiral the sea,
the permanent flowing,
For the real.
