This image shows a blackout poetry piece created on page 53 of Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein”. The background is predominantly drawn over in green colored pencil. Select words and phrases have been left visible, and outlined by a several connected brown-and-orange blobs, forming a new poetic message against the drawn-over background. A few images of flora and fauna are pasted across the page.
