AND THE STRANGER WILL DEPART

And the Stranger will depart

my soul, be prepared

prepared for him

O weariness of men
the grandeur of mind

To arts and inventions

Blinding the earth
Exploiting the seas developing the mountains,
Dividing the stars
Engaged in devising

Plotting of happiness

For nation or race

There is one who remembers

Life you may evade, but Death
shall not deny the Stranger.
