I rebelled with God

A page of poetry by Emily Dickinson made into blackout poetry. Some words are whited out and the remaining words are circled in reddish pink. The same color frames the border. Around the poem are a drawing of the sun, a star cut out of patterned paper, and two black-and-white photographs of women.

By NS

I rebelled:
with God.
the Sun
stooped
to the tides—
Could

the former
majesty
surpass
mine!
