The son confirmed his father’s account

Page 156 of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein". The majority of the text is legible and untouched, other than a few words obscured by red marker and a large drawing of a heart in the center of the page, which only reveals the words "examined concering / north win that had / beaten / nearly the same / that it".
Illustrations of flowers drawn across the bottom paragraphs of the page. Polka-dot tape lining the margins, and rainbow gems decorating the perimeter of the page.
