when going to a dinner party to wear a dinner or<\/p>\n\n\n\n

never for an instant think of putting on a becoming<\/p>\n\n\n\n

frame of mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

it is far more important to put<\/p>\n\n\n\n

headache or a worry out of view than to wear a new dress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TAKING A HOUSE GUEST TO A PARTY<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When an unexpected house guest arrives<\/p>\n\n\n\n

it is quite<\/p>\n\n\n\n

right for a hostess to telephone to ask if she may bring him to a <\/p>\n\n\n\n

lunch or dinner at a large house, or to an afternoon party<\/p>\n\n\n\n

it is much better when the party is a sit-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

down one at a house of limited size<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and mouth are both covered with a protecting mask of gauze. Feeling<\/p>\n\n\n\n

utterly miserable themselves, they should try to keep others from feel-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ing likewise- you’d think!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The business angle of this subject is unhappily not so easily solved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
