Born and raised in Bangalore, India, Nivedita Pari wants her work to share beauty and joy while touching upon themes of grief, personhood, relationships, and questions of human existence.  In her photography, she is inspired by light and memory; her work is influenced by visual culture and history. She is currently a senior at Smith College studying Studio Art, working primarily in photography and printmaking.
