“This tattoo is a flash design by Julia Suh (@koreanbein on Instagram). When I saw it posted on her Instagram, I immediately fell in love and knew that I wanted it to be my first tattoo.

Growing up in Oregon, I marked the beginning of the end of our rain season by looking for crocuses. These little flowers were a consistent sign of joy, life, and the promise of the future. Being able to look down at my arm during any season and see the brightness and beauty in the world is so special, and I am so grateful to have this reminder on my body!

Since getting photographed, I now have another tattoo keeping my flowers company. I can’t wait to continue to decorate my body with beautiful, silly, serious art.”
