My favorite part of curating this exhibit has been the excitement that people get when I tell them about it. Botanical tattoos are wildly popular amongst Smithies, so it’s no surprise that we didn’t have to push too hard to get people to participate.

Tattoos are a beautiful snapshot into some of the most intimate parts of people, and hearing the stories behind each one has been such an honor! I am overwhelmed by the trust that these students put into us.

I am so grateful for the labor of my sweet 2023/2024 BoGSEs Magda, Kris, Abagail, and Eleanor. They have been such a wonderful group to work with, and I couldn’t be more excited to see what they each do next!

Finally, my deepest thank you to Sarah Loomis for being one of my greatest SCBG supporters over the past two years. Without her, this exhibit would not be possible. Thank you for being a great thought partner and for always believing in me!
