“I’m so proud of all the work and creativity that our team has put into this exhibit in order to make it a welcoming space for culture, identity, and sharing. My first tattoo was a tiny botanical tattoo that I drew myself, and the concept of decorating oneself for the purpose of expression has always been intriguing and important to me. I’m so glad that we were able to create this type of space for others to share themselves and their stories. Talking to people about their tattoos and seeing them interact with a camera to showcase these parts of themselves has been such a privilege and I feel incredibly lucky to have been granted the opportunity to be a part of it. I hope this exhibit encourages people to explore all the different ways there are to express oneself.”
