Under the guidance of Professor Barbara Kellum, Imaging Center experts Andrew Maurer and Jonathan Cartledge, and Visual Arts Librarian Nimisha Bhat, I have researched aspects of the Porticus of Livia from Ancient Rome. My presentation focuses on how this research informed what our virtual recreation of the Porticus looks and sounds like. I especially focus on designs we chose for the Porticus’ grapevine, fountains, alcoves, and birdsong.
