The Committee on Educational and Research Technology (CERT) evaluates current uses of educational technologies at Smith and advises on longer-term plans and support for digital pedagogies at Smith. We welcome your views and input concerning the use of technology to improve teaching and learning.<\/p>\n
One of CERT\u2019s responsibilities is to review applications for funding exploratory and innovative projects in technology-enabled learning. The committee awards up to a total of $20,000 each academic year; past grant applications have received funding ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 for equipment, software and other related needs. (CET grants may not be used for stipends or other compensation.) \u00a0Please review our Grant Program Overview<\/a>\u00a0for more details on program requirements, funding options, and selection criteria.<\/p>\n CERT also works with the staff who support digital pedagogy around the college to develop resources and workshops that support faculty adoption of technology-enabled learning strategies.
