      1. My mom has a signet ring with \u798f engraved on it. She wanted me to have something similar to hers, so she bought me this ring. The significance of the \u798f is that it\u2019s my Chinese surname, but it also is supposed to bring her luck. In addition, bats in Chinese, <\/span>\u8759\u8760, which sound like <\/span>\u798f. She thought the ring she gave me was perfect because both bats and \u798f are supposed to represent luck.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      2. What does it say about you, your family, or the associated people?\u00a0<\/span>\n

        1. To me, it means a lot that my mom was the person who gave me this ring because it\u2019s a daily reminder of my Chinese heritage. It\u2019s more of an acceptance and celebration of my background.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

          1. I think I\u2019ll mess with the order of events of getting the ring. Perhaps start with an opening line of how much the ring means to me. Then go into why my mom bought it and her reasoning behind it. Following that, talk about first impressions and how I\u2019ve grown to love the ring. Then end the podcast by talking about its significance to me and why.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
