Several groups at Smith College were involved in making this project possible.<\/p>\n

First, the Department of Classical Languages and Literatures<\/a> has been instrumental in allowing the course to make use of the Van Buren Antiquities Collection.<\/p>\n

Equally important has been the contribution of Educational Technology Services<\/a>, who provided guidance at every step, and who led a number of workshops in Timeline JS and WordPress, along with overseeing all aspects of the technology more generally.<\/p>\n

The Imaging Center<\/a> has led workshops on 3D scanning and preparing models for printing, both for the course as a whole and for individual students, as well as facilitating the integration of 3D models into the Timelines and offering advice on a number of points on photogrammetry or otherwise.<\/p>\n

Finally, our liaisons at Neilson Library<\/a> have been enormously helpful in facilitating the project at all levels.<\/p>\n
