AH POVERTIES, WINCINGS, AND SULKY RETREATS

AH foes have overcome me,
degradations,
dissatisfied friendships, and the sharpest
toil of choked articulations,
shallow the shallowest
broken resolution
yet
all
THOUGHTS
Of a calm and
pale face
stand helpless and exposed,
mumbling and screaming
and true

(Words highlighted:
foes and friends toil yet all stand screaming true)
