Leah, this was so beautiful to look at and read. One part that stood out to me was the lines: “He and my dad work in the highest need areas, in the cities that make other people nervous. ” It seems like having that kind of legacy and those role models for not only teachers, but teachers that fight for justice for children has really shaped you and your goals.
