Description: Dropwort plants have numerous white flowers that grow in dense clusters near the upper end of the stem (“Filipendula vulgaris – common dropwort”).
Historical medicinal use: In folk medicine, dropwort has reportedly been used to treat peptic ulcers and various inflammatory conditions (Samardžić, Stevan et. al., 2018).
Modern medicinal use: Dropwort is used in the treatment of a variety of ailments, such as epilepsy, kidney stones, and intestinal worms (“Filipendula vulgaris”).
