World War One may have ended on November 11th, 1918, but fuel, food, and medicine were all still in short supply. In 1908, the Ford Model T had a fuel efficient of 21 miles per gallon, and in 1935, fuel efficiency was around 14 miles per gallon. Assuming this is not a new car and fuel efficiency was probably low, we\u2019ll accept 14 miles per gallon. 0.13 gallons is 1 litre, so 0.13 x 14 = 1.82 miles.
