The ski brochure is an important part of any ski adventure. This pocket sized pamphlet provides skiers with important information about the mountain they are skiing.
Not only are they important while on the mountain skiing, once back at home skiers can keep ski brochures as a souvenir of their trip. Within the Skiing Records book, I found many ski brochures from various ski resorts around New England including Mt. Tom, Stratton, and the Berkshire Mountain Basin. Neither Mt Tom nor the Berkshire Mountain basin exist today. Both opened in the mid-20th century and closed before the turn of the century. Their existence in the form of ski brochures saved by Smithies speaks to their importance to students at the time.
Included below is my own ski brochure that I created to help you navigate this exhibit and keep as a souvenir. Click on this link to download it. Feel free to print it out double-sided and fold it!
