In Figure 4.6 “Orderly Tangles” p. 41 – “The English hold over the name Diamonds from the previous station and apply it to this. But in the United States it is called Cat’s Eye, in Korea Cow’s Eyeball, and in Japan Horse Eye. Here the wooden models can no longer display the crossings correctly if they are confined to two levels. The addition if one more level also enables the model to stand erect, forming a dramatic statue without rigorous symmetry, but with an agreeably symmetrical appearance.”
