These programs encourage girls to engage in programming and technical computer skills. When I came upon these photographs they highlighted\u00a0the breadth of the YWCA of the USA records to me. So far in my descriptions of microfilm and photographs I have been prior to the 1960&#8217;s. When I saw these photographs I was reminded of the ongoing work of the organization and its progression over time. It was also exciting to see color for a change instead of black and white! The microfilm records and serials digitized date from prior to the formation of the YWCA of the USA through the 1970&#8217;s. As the example above shows, the photographs extend well into the 1990&#8217;s.
