Student Workers at the Imaging Center

The Imaging Center has a large cohort of student workers. Student worker jobs range from gallery assistants to media and cataloging and even studio techs. Imaging Center student workers also work in a range of different spaces around Hillyer Hall. There are student workers that work in the gaming lab, the Visual Communication Resource Center (VCRC), the galleries, the photo and printmaking classrooms, the wodshop and the Imaging Center Office Space. 

Student workers in the gaming lab hold open hours throughout the week and assist students using the gaming lab. In the VCRC, Visual Media Specialists assist students taking digital media and photo classes who use the VCRC for their assignments. Gallery assistants instal and deinstal  student shows in the Jannotta Gallery. Shop assistants in the photo and printmaking classrooms and woodshop assist with studio upkeep and assist students with equipment and processes.  Students in the Imaging center work at the front desk as equipment checkout specialists, media and cataloging assistants and VR specialists. These students work predominantly in digital media except for equipment check out students who work to ensure students have what they need for studio classes.
