A purchase proposal of <em>Movement<\/em> is presented through Sohl Lee &#8217;06 and other members of the Korean American Students of Smith (KASS), first founded in 1985, to celebrate the newly established Korean Arts Foundation (KAF) in 2007.<\/p>\n<p>Originally commissioned by the Asia Society, New York, to mark the opening of its museum after renovation and expansion, <em>Movement<\/em> was purchased in 2007 after an international fundraising effort and was later revised and modified as the centerpiece for <em>MOVEMENT \uc6c0\uc9c1\uc784<\/em>, an exhibition comprised of works of contemporary art by established and emerging Korean-born artists. It&#8217;s one of Min&#8217;s major works manifesting her post-colonialist and feminist ideology.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_326\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-326\"
