Organization Description <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Mission: <\/strong>It Takes a Village aims to provide free postpartum and early parenting support to families in western MA through home visits, distribution of diapers, baby supplies, and clothing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Goals:<\/strong> Our goal is to facilitate strong connections between families and the community. We believe that communities are stronger when everyone works together to welcome the newest members of their village, and no one should feel alone. Families with babies and young children in particular benefit from a support system that can provide practical support, emotional support, and essential resources. Our guiding principle is to increase each family\u2019s connection to the community, assist them in finding and building their own support systems, and improve access to resources.
