(SSV provides volunteers with background information on each book and suggestions for engaging the students in a dialogue before, during and after each reading)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Skills:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Good interpersonal skills&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong academic ability and desire to teach &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Patience with children&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Training:<\/strong>&nbsp;SSV provides free training for all of our programs, depending on the program selected a volunteer may be asked to complete additional training.
