However, it turned out that she died in a car accident and it was actually her soul. The story gets a little bit scary when I read that it was the soul, and also a little bit sad in the end when her mother was talking to the taxi driver. The pictures also help a lot. The watercolor drawings are really beautiful, and they really add to the mood of this book. The ending confused me a little bit when I first read it but it started to make sense when I reread it. \u00a0The book is hard for first-year Japanese students because of the vocabs and kanji, but it&#8217;s good to give it a try.
