The Immigrants Handbook has brought satisfaction to my last semester at Smith College, not only because of its humanistic context but because the joy comes in trying to help others.
This project has made me realize how inclusive the state of Massachusetts is and recognize that all these organizations exist thanks to the good heart of their residents in donating money, goods, and time to keep serving individuals in need in our communities without prejudice.
Also, how those who have benefited from Communities Centers, like me, are willing to retribute back a little of what has been received either by volunteering at some Center in their community, donating money, or with research that seeks to investigate and develop methods to continue with this mission of empathy.
