MassHealth Limited
Masshealth Limited provides services to non-citizen individuals or people of very low income in emergency cases.
Masshealth Limited Covers:
- Labor and delivery
- Emergencies services which conditions put their lives at serious risk if they are not treated. However, depending on the treatment, maybe some coverages could be limited.
- Non-citizens children under 21 can be under their parent’s name insurance.
- Outpatient hospital emergency services.
- Outpatient emergency visits to emergency rooms.
- Particular medical services are provided by doctors and clinics outside of a hospital.
- Certain Pharmacy services for treating an emergency medical condition.
- Ambulance transportation for an emergency medical condition only.
Masshealth does not let down anyone. It has different types of coverage for everyone. If Masshealth Limited does not cover completely a medical emergency__Masshealth offers other alternatives such as a payment plan because your health matters.

Everyone is welcome, and no insurance is necessary for children 2 years old.
In addition, Amherst Survival Center helps connect with other Communities Centers with more information about health insurance, such as MassHealth, MassHealth-Limited, Commonwealth Care, and the Health Safety Net.

John P. Musante Health Center
John P. Musante Health Center (JPMHC) is located on the outside lower level of the Bang Community Center, on the right coming from the South.
JPMHC provides information and accepts most MassHealth insurances, private insurance, and MassHealth Limited, which covers limited services for undocumented patients.
In addition, JPMHC offers an estimated fee scale based on income level for patients whose health insurance does not entirely cover their treatment. This program is called Insurance, Sliding Fee Scale, and Good Faith Estimate. The JPMHC is committed to helping anyone with or without health insurance, indicating that”
