Mr.Vaughan volunteers in this program.<\/p>\n<p>They were determined to continue the excellent work, even when the funding ended, because they realized how this program changes people&#8217;s lives in the community. Mr. Phil Rabinowitz liked the good deeds of this program and decided to join the work. The three established The Community Based Education as an independent non-profit agency called <em>The Literacy Project.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Thanks to donations and the support of staff and volunteers, The Literacy Project has expanded to five locations with little funding but a passion for teaching adults English to enhance their social and economic opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the Literacy Project offers free classes in its five locations Amherst, MA., Greenfield, MA., Northampton, MA., Orange, MA., and Ware, MA.
