Crisis Pregnancy Centers, Anti-Abortion Tactics, and the Fight for Reproductive Justice in Florida

Ruby Williams

This podcast focuses on exploring abortion access in Florida. Through interviewing with Jodi Wilkof and personal storytelling I examine the barriers to abortion in Florida as well as explain some of the history of the anti-abortion movement and how we can continue to push back.

The pictures in this gallery are all sourced from the Smith College Archives on the Smith College Pro-Life Alliance. This gallery displays some of the flyers discussed in the podcast that advertise common lies about abortion in an attempt to scare people out of receiving the reproductive health care they may need. Also shown is a page of notes taken at a pro-life conference. Some of the notes I found most disturbing were “Abortion is the American Holocaust” and notes comparing abortion to slavery. Both the notes and the flyers demonstrate the language and lies used by anti-abortion advocates.
