The Role of People of Color in Reproductive Justice

Kate Bartkus

In this podcast, I discuss the oppression of people of color in reproductive and sexual health. I will start by discussing the history of the framework of Reproductive Justice and then go into the history of the oppression of minoritized communities through reproductive and sexual health. After providing historical context, I dive into the topic of how the recent overturning of Roe vs. Wade will have negative implications for people of color seeking reproductive healthcare and abortion.
