My podcast discusses medical abuse towards pregnant women from the 1940s to today. I discuss DES and the generational affects the drug had on families as well as an issue from the Ladies Home Journal called “Cruelty in Maternity Wards”, which highlighted abuse taking place towards women in labor. I also share a story about my mom who was prescribed a drug while pregnant with my brother that caused him to have Autism. I include excerpts from the National Cancer Institute and The Giving Voices to Mothers Study.
