Support and Love for Queer Parents

by Emelia Burns

Queer parents have existed for centuries but it was not until 1997 when queer people could even begin to legally adopt in the United States. Instead of giving up or allowing themselves to succumb to hopelessness, many queer parents created spaces for others to feel safe, loved, and welcomed in a world where they were not always allowed to.
