There has been a lot of discourse around the incorporation of sex education within schools and the extent to which the curriculum should cover since the 1960s. Throughout the decades, Planned Parenthood has made various efforts to use sex education as a means to prevent teen pregnancy and, more modernly, to create a more educated society. Despite varying opposing opinions, Planned Parenthood now strives to provide a comprehensive, inclusive sex education for youth around the United States.
