This podcast shares a brief look into Smith’s LBA and how inclusive both the LBA and Smith in general was around the 1980s/1990s. There has always been a struggle for true equality at Smith, and this is true even within an inclusive group such as the LBA. In the podcast I highlight the difference in experience that having an intersecting identity creates, and how at first the LBA was not as actively including students of color.
