This exhibition<\/em>\u00a0was launched by Jojo Renard, a 2017 Smith College senior, for her Museums Concentration\u00a0Capstone Project. Being\u00a0a studio artist herself, as well as a Northampton local, Renard has always appreciated the city’s\u00a0lively public art scene. From sculptures to murals to graffiti, it seems like every corner you turn, there are dozens of works of art to be seen.<\/p>\n In order to recognize the vibrant and ever-expanding Northampton\u00a0art scene, the Northampton Street Art exhibition encourages the public’s participation both by being mindful of the art that surrounds us as well as contributing their own street art discoveries to the exhibition.
