Hotel Reservations
The conference hotel is the Hotel Northampton. A block of rooms has been reserved at $155.99 for a Queen or King size room; after those are taken, the rate will be $175.00 for Deluxe Rooms. Please call (413) 584-3100 or (800) 547-3529 and let them know that you wish to reserve a room for the “Oberlin Conference”. Hotel rates will be held through September 3.
Travel
The hotel is a 12-minute walk to Smith College’s Neilson Library. A car shuttle will be available between the hotel and Smith College Campus; please email Danny Hescock at dhescock@smith.edu to make arrangements.
Buses will be available to take attendees from Hotel Northampton to and from Mount Holyoke College on Monday, and to and from Amherst College on Wednesday.
By air: Bradley International is the closest airport to the colleges. Valley Transporter provides shuttle service from the airport to the colleges.
By train: Amtrak has a train station in Northampton, which is 3 blocks from the Hotel Northampton.

For those who drive, the Hotel Northampton is about a 20 minute drive from Northampton to South Hadley. Parking passes will be left for you at the Hotel. Mount Holyoke College Campus Map. Contact Krista Denno (kdenno@mtholyoke.edu) if you have questions about parking at Mount Holyoke.
We have arranged a bus (Michael’s Bus Lines) for those who are not driving that will depart Hotel Northampton at 1:30 p.m. and drop off at Mount Holyoke College, Williston Library. Bus capacity: 56 people.
For those who wish to take public transportation, the 39E bus leaves from the Academy of Music on Main Street. The fee is $1.50 payable in cash only. Or you can download the PVTA mobile app here and pay with your phone: https://www.pvta.com/busPlus.
For the return from Mount Holyoke to Hotel Northampton following dinner, a bus will pick up at Willits-Hallowell Conference Center at 8:15 p.m. Bus capacity: 56.

The Smith campus is a ten-minute walk from the hotel. There is plenty of parking available at the campus Parking Garage, 60 West Street. Parking passes will be left at the Hotel for those who requested them. Smith College Campus Map.

A bus will pick up at Hotel Northampton at 7:45 a.m. and drop off at Amherst College. Bus capacity: 56 people. Parking is available at the Alumni Parking Lot. Amherst College Campus Map.
We have arranged for a bus to depart Amherst College at 12:30 p.m. for Bradley Airport. Capacity: 56 people. For those involved in afternoon activities, the #43 PVTA bus leaves the Amherst campus for Northampton approximately every half-hour. #B43 Bus Schedule.
