An apron being used to \u201cadorn a costume,\u201d make more beautiful, is less commonly thought of. Especially since the original etymology for the word \u201capron\u201d comes from the medieval French word \u201cnaperon\u201d which means tablecloth.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Another cloth item used to protect the valuables beneath it.
