Yiyang (Grace) Xu (she/her) is one of the class of 2025 from China majoring in Film and Media Studies. She is also passionate about East Asian Literature, theatre, music, and journalism. She is a soprano singer in the Glee Club. Her research interests include civil, queer, and feminist activism in East Asia and Asian diaspora communities. She is developing podcasts with Hong Kong civil-rights protestors. She is currently working on a short film about the Vietnamese diaspora in Czech Republic for the study-abroad semester.
