Leela is a double major in the Study of Women & Gender and Government, concentrating in International Politics. Her interests include transnational feminism, student advocacy on the Smith campus, and progressive Leftist politics. During Fall 2021 she was an editorial fellow at Ms. Magazine. She is Brazilian-Bulgarian, residing in Boston, Massachusetts.
