In 1964, Dean Howard Parad sheperded the Program for Advanced Study (PAS) into a Doctoral Program. The PAS had begun during Florence Day’s Administration, though that program could draw a direct line backward to the Bertha Capen Reynolds’s Plan D curriculum<\/a> that had led to her forced departure<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Doctoral Program is committed to the preparation of skilled clinicians for careers as investigators and scholars of casework practice. It is worth noting that this rather innocent appearing statement actually charts a course which runs against professional tides.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
