\u2018I am the Dean\u2019 starts out with a tribute to Dean Katherine Gabel<\/a> in her final year as dean. Dean Gable comes into the skit part way through. She looks back and captures a lot of the spirit of student life in the 1980s through humorous (and fictional) statistics.<\/p>\n

Students in the Smith College School for Social Work held senior skit night at the end of each summer for most of the 100 years of the school’s existence. This was performed in 1999.
