The Activities Committee, co-chaired by Caroline Bertrand and Andrea Fernandes, “organizes events to foster community among staff and tries to coordinate events that give staff opportunities to meet up with friends in other areas of campus and also meet new staff members [they] wouldn’t typically have a chance to meet.\u201d  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caroline is also on the Personnel and Policy Committee and says she values the opportunity to give staff members a safe place to share concerns and share opportunities to give clarification, guidance, or assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does Caroline like best about being a part of Staff Council? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI met a ton of people across campus that I wouldn’t have otherwise had an opportunity to meet. It forges new relationships that are beneficial to both work and life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Season:<\/strong> all 4 for different reasons – this is New England!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hobby: <\/strong>skiing, golfing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food:<\/strong> seafood<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place on Campus:<\/strong> sitting by the waterfall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
