In practice, Tadoku <\/span>(extensive reading) <\/span><\/i>is simple. But where do you start…?<\/span><\/p>\n

STEP 1. Select a Level<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Our books are organized by <\/span><\/span>level<\/b> (difficulty) to accommodate a large variety of learners. <\/span>However, we typically encourage newcomers to start with Level 0<\/a><\/b> in order to familiarize themselves with the <\/span>Tadoku<\/span><\/i> method. You can also search by genre<\/b><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to select a book based on its genre.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

STEP 2. Choose a Book<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Once you find a book that catches your eye, <\/span>click on its cover image to read it online<\/b>!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

STEP 3. Get reading!<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

When you find a word you do not know, refrain from using dictionaries. <\/span>It is ok to skip over difficult words, phrases and passages<\/b>. <\/i><\/b>When the going gets tough, simply set the book aside, and pick up another. In this way, you will get an authentic experience of <\/span>\u201creading for pleasure\u201d <\/b>rather than a skill oriented manner through Tadoku.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
