Job Application, 1929<\/span><\/p>\n

This letter was written by Lotte in 1929 as part of her application to serve as a typist in a civil servant position.<\/p>\n

Ich gestalte mir mein Anerbieten vorzulegen und bitte, im Falle einer zur Besetzung gelangten Stelle als Beamtin mich zu ber\u00fccksichtigen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ich bin Im Jahre 1913 geboren und habe nach Beendigung der tschechischen B\u00fcrgerschule die \u00f6ffentliche 2 klassige deutsche Handelsschule des Prager Frauenerwerbvereins mit Erfolg absolviert.<\/span><\/p>\n

Die tschechische Sprache beherrsche ich vollstandig. Auf der Schreibmaschine verschiedener Systeme bin ich ge\u00fcbt, ebenso in der deutschen und tschechischen Stenographie.<\/span><\/p>\n

Im F\u00e4lle meiner Aufnahme verspreche ich gewissenhafte Pflichterf\u00fcllung<\/span><\/p>\n

I was born in 1913, and after completing Czech secondary school I successfully completed the second class of the public German business school of the Prague Women\u2019s Employment Society. <\/span><\/p>\n

I am fluent in the Czech language. I am proficient in various typewriting systems and also in German and Czech stenography.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the case of my acceptance I promise to faithfully perform my duties.<\/span><\/p>\n
